Is THE ANTI AGE KIT right for me?

THE ANTI AGE KIT is suitable for all skin types and skin conditions and is particularly suitable for normal, dry, combination and mature skin with visible signs of aging, as well as pigment spots, large pores, uneven skin surface and skin irritations.

THE ANTI AGE KIT contains Superfood serum which contains Vitamin A in the form of Retinyl Palmitate. Superfood should therefore not be used during pregnancy as a precautionary measure.

How do I use THE ANTI AGE KIT for best results?

THE ANTI AGE KIT is a complete skincare routine. In the morning, apply Superfood serum to cleansed skin, followed by Urban Protection day cream. In the evening, cleanse the skin with Wash the day off facial cleanser. Lather up on lightly moistened skin. Rinse with water. Finish with Anti-age night cream rich.

Do I need to use eye cream in addition?

SUPERFOOD vitamin face gel is a multifunctional gel that can be used both as a serum and gel on the cheekbones and around the eyes. Use a small amount of product. The gel penetrates the skin quickly and has a light consistency. If you need a richer product around the eye area, we do not have a specific eye cream, but all our face creams can be used over Superfood.

Whether you use Superfood or another eye cream, remember that the skin around your eyes is thinner than the skin on the rest of your face. An eye cream or gel should be applied in small amounts and applied along the eye bone around the eye and not on the eyelid itself. The skin attracts the product (a bit like a sponge). By applying the cream along the eye bone, you avoid irritating the eye skin and you don't get product in your eye.

Can I use THE ANTI AGE KIT all year round?

Yes. We recommend that you use all the products in THE ANTI-AGE kit year-round.

You can use a day cream with sun protection all year round, even in winter. The reason is that UVA rays are virtually constant all year round, penetrating through cloud cover and car windows. UVA protection is therefore something to think about all year round. We recommend that you use a day cream with broad-spectrum UV protection all year round.

What does 'high and broad spectrum' UV protection mean?

Broad spectrum UV protection means that the product protects against both UVA and UVB rays. SPF is the same as sun protection factor and indicates the protection against UVB rays.

SPF is a measure of how long your skin can be exposed to UV rays without turning red, compared to if you didn't have UV protection. SPF is a mathematical formula that is not linear. The number in SPF shows the strength of the sun protection effect. In simple terms, SPF15 filters out about 93% of UVB rays, SPF30 filters out about 97% of UVB rays, while SPF50 filters out about 98% of UVB rays. High sun protection factor means that a product has a protective effect with either SPF30 or SPF50.

The Danish Cancer Society recommends always using factor 30 or higher.

The sun protection effect decreases over time. You should reapply approximately every 2 hours if you are in the sun. Remember that you need to use a sufficient amount of product to achieve the protection stated on the product. For the face and neck, it is recommended to use cream equivalent to 2 finger lengths.

What is the difference between UVB and UVA rays?

UV raysare electromagnetic waves that travel from the sun towards the earth. UV waves are classified by wavelength. The wavelength affects where in the skin the UV rays penetrate, and thus which structures in the skin are affected.

UVB raysare the ones that make the skin brown and sunburn. They are strongest in summer and in cloudless weather. Protection against UVB rays is indicated by SPF.

UVA raysare the main cause of age-related changes in the skin. UVA rays are almost constant year-round. They penetrate cloud cover and windows.

UVA protection is indicated by the UVA mark – UVA with a circle around it or with the indicationUVA-PF.

What is the difference between a day cream with UV protection and a sunscreen?

The requirements for labeling UV protection are the same for sunscreen and day cream with sun protection. This means that if a product is labeled with SPF 30, it must have passed the same tests and meet the same requirements for UV protection, regardless of whether it is a sunscreen or a day cream with sun protection.

Remember that all products with UV protection (both sunscreens and day creams with sun protection) must be applied in sufficient quantity and often enough to achieve the stated UV protection.

Water and sweat reduce the sun protection effect. If you are going to the beach or exercising in the sun, you should therefore use a waterproof sunscreen instead of a non-waterproof day cream with SPF.
